Doly Azangue

Associate

Barrister Doly Azangue Tetsop is an Associate at The Abeng Law Firm. Her work combines litigation and advisory support across public and administrative law, insurance and business law. She contributes to the assessment of legal risks and the preparation of strategies that address clients’ legal and commercial priorities.

Her responsibilities include legal research, the preparation of legal opinions, contract drafting and review, and the preparation of pleadings, applications, complaints and formal notices. She contributes to the development of legal arguments and coordinates procedural follow-up with courts, registries and public authorities. She also prepares hearing reports, monitors deadlines and assists with amicable settlement discussions.

Doly works on debt recovery and enforcement, including challenges to attachments and applications for interim relief, as well as commercial, employment, land and administrative disputes. Her work also includes corporate and regulatory matters under OHADA and CEMAC law, the review of bank guarantees and support on public-procurement matters.

Before joining the Firm in 2024, Doly acquired experience as a jurist in private practice and later spent five years managing an Activa motor-insurance sales agency. This combination of legal and commercial experience gives her a practical understanding of insurance operations, customer relations, claims-related concerns and the day-to-day realities facing businesses. She brings that perspective to the management of disputes, regulatory questions and client assignments requiring careful coordination and timely implementation.

Doly holds a Master's degree in Fundamental Public Law and a Diploma of Insurance Technician. Her background enables her to work across public-law, insurance, regulatory and contentious matters while contributing disciplined research, organised file management and a clear focus on the client's objectives.
